Awards

Brigadier General Jimmy Welch (center), Commander, presented these soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 194th Engineer Brigade, Tennessee Army National Guard various awards. The soldiers are serving in Iraq with the Jackson, Tennessee Guard unit.

The 194th deployed in December 2004.

From left to right are (front row) Major Tommy Fullen, Staff Sergeant Mike Hopkins, Brigadier General Welch, Major Mike Wilson and Specialist Jon Ulderich (back row) Specialist Ryan McLemore, Specialist Chris Ulianna, Staff Sergeant Robert Stroud, Sergeant James Jackson and Sergeant Mark Vibbert.

Hopkins, Wilson and Fullen were awarded the Meritorious Service Medal; Stroud and Vibbert were presented the Army Commendation Medal and Jackson, Ulderich and Ulianna received the Army Achievement Medal. McLemore and Ulianna were given a coin by the Commander of the 172nd Field Artillery for their work on base camp construction projects.
