Dexter Reenlistment

Sergeant Jason Dexter (right) recently reenlisted for six years in the Tennessee Army National Guard. SGT Dexter is serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 194th Engineer Brigade (TA) in Iraq. The Jackson, Tennessee Army National Guard unit has been deployed since January of this year. SGT Dexter is the Brigade automation NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer) in the S-6 section.

SGT Dexter has three years active duty in the United States Marine Corps and four years in the Tennessee Army National Guard.

SGT Dexter is a resident of Waverly, Tennessee. His wife is Vicki and they have two children, Michael and Melanie. He is the service advisor for Ray Smith Chevrolet.

Administering the oath of enlistment was Brigadier General Jimmy Welch (left), Commander of the 194th.
