Stroud Promotion

Staff Sergeant Robert Stroud (left) was recently promoted to his present rank during a company formation in Iraq. He is serving in Iraq with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 194th Engineer Brigade (TA), Tennessee Army National Guard, Jackson. He is assigned as the Brigade Commander's vehicle driver.

A veteran of Operation Desert Storm, SSG Stroud has 20 years of combined service in the United States Army and Tennessee Army National Guard. He attended Dresden High School and obtained his GED from Murray State University.

SSG Stroud is a self-employed cabinet builder from Milan and resides there with his wife Barbara and sons Daniel and Zeb. Daniel is also a member of the 194th. He is a Specialist in the Construction Management Section.
